OPB Visits Bagby Hot Springs

OPB's award winning Oregon Field Guide visited Bagby Hot Springs this Summer to see what NFC has been doing. The episode is also available on the Oregon Field Guide website by clicking here. Bagby Guard Station Restoration

NFC has partnered with the USDA Forest Service to restore the Bagby Guard Station. Built in 1913, it is the best preserved example of a pre-WWI log cabin/shed combination in the Northwest. NFC is in the process of restoring the buildings to a substantially similar condition to when they were originally built. Almost all the work is done with volunteers. If you are interested in helping, please contact Mike Rysavy.

Funding provided by: Spirit Mountain Community Fund, The Kinsman Foundation, Siletz Indians, Clackamas County Cultural Coalition, Clackamas County Title III.
